[3 ways] to join INDIAN ARMED FORCE after graduation




As we all know india army is the 4th largest army in the world. Indian Armed forces are the most prestigious and well sought job in India. While one serves the nation even at the risk of one's own life. 
Indian Army also provide several ways  with which a youngster can make a perfect Career in Indian Army each year lakhs of aspire  comes for the recruitment. Indian Army also provide several facilities like huge salary package, job security, pension after retirement and many more and the most important to serve our mother land it doesn't matter at what rank an individual is .


One can join Indian Armed forces after 12 or graduation . This article sum up the way and criteria of how to join Indian Armed forces as an officer after graduation. So here are the 3 ways ;




Combine defence service [CDS]


This is the most frequently and easiest way to join Indian Armed forces after graduation.


Eligibility;

Age limit : 19-24

Education: graduate from recognise university or institution
For male candidates can either join [IMA] Indian military academy ; Dehradun or [OTA] officer training academy ; chennai

For female candidates can join OTA for 
The training.

CDA is a written exam for joining the above two institution and the exam is held twice a year february/march and September / October the notification are provided in all the leading newspapers and  in the official link.


Technical entrance


If you have BE or Btech degree from any recognise university or institution you can join in two ways.

Technical graduate course (TGC) if one has Btech degree:

Only for male candidates
Age limit: 20-27

Training location: IMA ,dehradun

Notification is out in the month of April and October.

Short service commission (tech):

This entrance is for both male and female candidates.
 Age limit for male: 20-27 years
 Age limit for female: 19-25 years 

Training location: OTA at Chennai.
This service commission is for only 10 years and it can be extended by 4 years.

Notification out between june and July.



NCC special entry scheme


This is a direct entry one does not need to sit for any Written exam.
Both male and female candidates can apply.

Age limit:19-25 years

Educational qualification: graduation and above with minimum of 50% in graduation , final year are also eligible .

Training academy: OTA, Chennai

Commission : short service commission

Notification: June and December
